A FEW SIMPLE PRECAUTIONS
S'Agapõ jewellery is designed to be worn every day and on all occasions. For this reason, they do not require extraordinary maintenance, but some simple precautions and care gestures should be taken to preserve their beauty and splendour over time. Normal daily use and external agents such as air humidity, temperature, pollution levels, contact with cosmetics, and skin perspiration can contribute to reducing the brilliance of steel, silver, or leather surfaces and altering the original appearance of the surface finishes present in some models.
The lustre of the creations can be easily maintained by using a dry soft cloth or non-abrasive products specifically designed and used in jewellery for cleaning. Most commercially available jewellery cleaning products can indeed be used safely if used properly, although care should be taken with those containing ammonia, alcohol, acids, or chemical substances that may be too aggressive.
Do not clean with detergents or chemicals, hot water, or ultrasonic systems. Alcoholic substances found in perfumes, hairsprays, and cosmetics can damage the metal, so it is advisable to use them before wearing the jewellery. Do not expose to excessive heat sources. Do not leave the jewellery exposed to the sun for prolonged periods. Do not immerse in water and do not use while showering.
For fabric cords and bracelets, it is good practice to limit contact as much as possible with agents such as water, thermal water, soap, cosmetics, perfumes, detergents, chlorine, and other similar substances that may discolour or deteriorate the fabric, compromising the integrity of the item. It is also advisable not to subject the fabric to stresses that could cause it to break.
